With a relatively small ceiling height of 3.1 meters and a 280㎡ space, the client wanted to create an immersive indoor playground in the Bathhouse, making their children feel as if they were in space while parents can enjoy themselves. This wasn’t just a simple order for soft play structures for sale; it was a comprehensive test of the entire chain of Indoor playground design, production, and installation.
Challenge and Breakthrough: “Taking Flight” in Limited Height
A ceiling height of 3.1 meters is a limitation for a space theme. Space implies vastness and weightlessness, while traditional climbing frames and large slides often require even greater space. Instead of reducing the complexity of the space vision, we tackled the challenge with modular soft play equipment.
Through customized fiberglass shapes, layered circulation planning, and a semi-transparent frame structure, we achieved a three-dimensional interweaving layout of interstellar slides and adventure equipment without violating safety regulations. From the moment children enter the park, their eyes are drawn to an immersive environment composed of planets, spaceships, and spacesuits.
Highlight: More Than Just Playgrounds, They’re Interactive Platforms
The massive interactive projection screen serves as the park’s “space command center.” Unlike conventional static decorations, this screen integrates multi-person interactive content.
The fiberglass slides and planet-shaped climbing frames are custom-molded, resembling spacecraft cabins. The slides’ curvature ensures both the thrill of speed movement and a strictly controlled landing buffer zone.
The adventure equipment is hidden within the spaceship-shaped frame; obstacles such as log bridges, rope nets, and balance beams are set against a “spacecraft maintenance mission” backdrop.
